The Social Health Project

Master of Design | Emily Carr University of Art + Design | 2015

My focus for The Social Health Project was to use design methods to learn from people who are actively engaged with the health system, and discuss the current view of the role of a designer in a health initiative with health professionals. In this way, I was able to illustrate where design methods could aid in the development of a system that was user/patient-centred.

The Designer Nudge

Bachelor of Design | Emily Carr University of Art + Design | 2013

My goal was take the concept of “nudging” and to use it as a means to design for behaviour change to address social and environmental issues where people’s behaviour is important. I wanted to craft an interactive, multi-layered, accessible and transparent document or platform through which I could share my research on the subject of the role of design in the recent movement towards behaviour change.
